It's been a while since I've worked on a personal piece and wanted to make a quick game environment. I happened to come across a beautiful concept art by Ling Xiang, however took a bit of liberties with my reinterpretation.
I spent a fair bit of time on the shader as I textured all the assets mainly within unreal through RGB masks and grunge, world position driven masks. The modular and unique pieces were modelled in Maya, detailed and sculpted in Zbrush and the normal map and rgb masks baked out in Substance Painter. The trim sheet patterns were modelled in maya, detailed in Zbrush and the rest of the textures were created in Substance Designer. Lastly I set up the scene in UE5.
I could probably spend more time on this piece and might revisit it later but for now it's done! On to the next one!
